The Yulidays Festive Event has begun! – December 13th to January 2nd

‘Tis the season! It’s time to kick off our second edition of Yulidays, our in-game Festive Event running from December 13th to January 2nd.

Valhalla, the Sanctuary, the Village, and even the Goblins (er… Snoblins) will be showing off their festive spirit. The Yulidays themed Main Menu and musical track also make their return! So gather around the hearth, and unlock unique rewards with this year’s Festive Challenges! 

We’d like to preface this patch by emphasizing this is a returning event from last year, with some new additions, to celebrate the holiday season together. In the meantime, we’ve been hard at work on our next big update… more on that below. 👀

With that said, let’s get into our last patch notes of the year!

Festive Challenges: 

• During the Yulidays Event from December 13th to January 2nd, there will be 3 Festive Challenges that can only be completed during this limited time event.
• Complete these challenges to earn unique Yulidays Content

• Challenge #1: December 13 – December 19: Defeat Enemies: Yulálfar x50
  • Reward: Yuledrasil Portrait

• Challenge #2: December 20 – December 26: Defeat Enemies: Unfrozen x20
  • Reward: Yuledeer Pet

• Challenge #3: December 27 – January 2nd: Defeat Enemies: Snoblins x80
  • Reward: Yuledeer Portrait

New Cosmetic Sets Debuting with the Yulidays Update:

• Yuledrasil Set: Armor x5 and Equipment x6
  • Unlocked with Platinum Coins in the Shop
• Sóleyra Costume: Armor x5 and Shield

• Bucky the Yule Goat: Oft-forgotten and stuck on the sidelines, this year’s holiday event marks Bucky the Yule Goat’s time to shine (again)!

New Pet Debuting with Yulidays Update:

• Yuledeer: Descended from the great Stags of Yggdrasil, this little guy just wants to prance around the great tree and hang festive decorations. His holiday spirit is infectious!

Yulidays SHiFT Codes: Mániklo and Sóleyra Shields 

Did you know? The goddess Freyja was so enamored with her immortal feline companions that she would often dress her children up in costumes of them, even after they became full-grown adults. It’s a totally true story. 

It turns out, she also bestowed two SHiFT codes upon the land of Midgard especially for you this Yulidays season! 

How to Redeem:

1. Link Tribes of Midgard account to your SHiFT account
   1. Head to the “Settings” tab located in game, then to the “SHiFT” tab
   2. Copy the code found in game to the SHiFT website: https://shift.gearboxsoftware.com/

We’ve brought back last year’s Yulidays Event to celebrate the holiday season together. But what we’ve truly been preparing for lies just ahead…

These past few months, we’ve been hard at work on our next large update. We’ve also been looking into issues that you have reported – it’s our priority to address these as thoroughly as possible so that you have the best experience playing Tribes of Midgard.

We’re so excited to share more of what you can expect to see… very soon (with some teasers this December) including:

• A brand new Ancient to battle (… in a new, never-before-explored location)
• Construction Improvements (including height changes)
• New Enemies
• New Tools
• Farming
