Celebrating One Year of Tribes of Midgard! – Dev Blog #3

Today, July 27th, marks one whole year of Tribes of Midgard! Here’s to a year of Jötunn-slaying and Saga Boss-vanquishing, and to celebrating you – our community of steadfast Vikings who, since the start of development, have brought us unmatched support. 💙

To mark the occasion, we have a few words to share from our Creative Director and co-founder, Julian Maroda:

The festivities don’t stop here. We’re also so glad to announce that we’ll be holding a special Anniversary Event in-game from August 23rd to September 12th! I wonder what awaits… 👀

Season 3 Coming August 16th

Season 3: Inferno Saga will be releasing on all existing platforms, as well as debuting on both Xbox and Nintendo Switch on August 16th!

We can’t wait for you to see all that we’ve been cooking up. But for the time being, here’s some concept art for one of our new enemies you’ll meet in the new Volcanic Spire biome, the Lavættir:

As you can expect, we’re excited to welcome all the new Vikings on board for this new Season. The past year, our community has grown to over 2 million players – an absolutely amazing milestone.

1 Year Celebration Stream

The festive spirit continues – we’ve got a special 1 Year Celebration stream planned for this Friday, July 29th at 3:00pm EST on Twitch! Though the in-game Anniversary Event may be coming next month, we can still celebrate early.
